Give me a beautiful Nebraska spring evening, golden hour, and time spent with the most amazing family, and I am one happy camper! This beautiful Memorial Park extended family session was one for the books!
If I know kids, I know active little boys! It’s hard to sit still when there’s so much to do and so much to see. When it comes to family sessions, I love capturing those special in-between moments. The ones where you capture the select orneriness only 5-year-old boys can have.
Cousins, Logan and Emmett, were so fun to capture! I love the challenge of seeing how I can get those natural smiles to really shine, and they definitely did when they interacted with Autumn, Logan’s little sister, and when they played games as a family.
In this day and age, it’s so easy to get caught up in social media by having the “perfect image”, that I think sometimes the reality of how your family is in this day and age can get lost.
Not with this family though!
I loved how they kept it real and that they truly just wanted to document moments together, especially those beautiful moments between Jan and her grandchildren. Some of my most favorite photos from this session are when Jan loved on her grandbabies and I could truly feel how precious these moments were as they looked back at her in adoration.
To Jan
Jan, you are unbelievably blessed! And I am honored you chose me to capture the most important part of your life: your family. These moments are such treasures, and I hope you always remember that there is no limit to grandma’s kisses, no matter how old those kiddos get in the future! Your beautiful Memorial Park family session will always hold a special place in my heart!
