Give me ALL THE COLOR!! When Brittany and Josh first talked about their vision for their engagement session, they told me that they love color and wanted to infuse it somehow into their session. Mission accomplished! This fun mural in Omaha, Nebraska, was the perfect backdrop for this fun loving couple’s colorful Omaha engagement session and really showcased their vibrant, beautiful and laid back personalities!

And what a fun, color loving evening it was! 

Brittany, Josh and I spent the best summer evening together, and it was such a fun change up from their Intimate Omaha Engagement Session that was taken right before this. What a perfect example of getting the best of both worlds and trusting your photographer! I’ve found that most people shy away from color when they don’t know how to use it, but if you work together with your photographer to help pick out outfits and a wonderful location, the end result can truly be wonderful! Embracing the unexpected can always be a little nerve wracking at first, but when you fully grasp the vision in your head like this couple, I think the end result can be even more perfect than you thought!

Brittany and Josh, you guys are just plain AWESOME! I love how you were down for anything and fully put your trust in me! Your session was so freeing creatively (and you two are just a hoot to hang out with!) that I can’t wait to see what we capture during your wedding in Kearney this fall! I can’t help but think a little more color will find its way somewhere in your wedding gallery 😉
