The families that love being together and know how precious every single moment is are completely my jam! I had the best time capturing this Lake Wanahoo family session and when golden hour hit, it was simply beautiful!
Great-grandma Joyce and baby Ivy snuggled as the sun set behind them right as Jude kept everyone else entertained while running circles around them. Some may call it chaos, but I call it beauty! I know from experience that active little boys need to run, and I love all the interactive shots we captured!
Capturing the in-between moments and little details your mind will somehow forget over time is just one reason why I love photography so much. Motherhood can be such a bittersweet journey by wanting to see your children grow and their personality develop, while simultaneously wanting to keep them little as long as possible at the same time.
It’s one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs, but one you will never forget!
Witnessing Jude and Ivy with their parents, aunt and uncle, grandparents, and great-grandmother was simply delightful. These two little kiddos are simply so blessed, and I loved seeing the joy they brought out in everyone around them!
